TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    All tickets are issued subject to these terms and conditions of sale and entry. By purchasing tickets and/or attending any CAYS sponsored event(s),  the purchaser and any attendee agree to comply with these terms and conditions:

    Payment must be received in full prior to attendance at the event. In addition to the ticket price, you must pay any booking, handling, credit card surcharge or any other fees that are specified on our website or by our ticketing platform, Stripe. Tickets are final and non-refundable. No refunds will be payable for non or partial attendance. In the case of an event cancellation without a rescheduled date, a full refund will be automatically issued to each patron on the credit card used to purchase. By purchasing a ticket to this event, you agree to this purchase policy. Before purchasing your tickets, we urge you to confirm the title, time and location of the event.

    The CAYS will accept a substitute attendee for the event if notification of such substitution is received at least 48 hours before the event. Any substitution after this time is at the discretion of The CAYS and may be refused. The CAYS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event, workshop or training program conducted by it.

    Where The CAYS reschedules an event, it will provide you reasonable notice (being not less than fourteen (14) days) of the revised date for the event. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you must notify us within 7 days  of who will take your place in attendance.

    The CAYS will not be responsible or liable for any failure to perform or delay in the performance of any obligation that is caused by events, acts, illnesses, severe weather, accidents, omissions or circumstances outside its reasonable control (‘Force Majeure Event’). The CAY’s performance is deemed to be suspended for the period of any Force Majeure Event. Intellectual property rights in all electronic or printed materials, including presentation slides, promotional materials, podcasts and webcasts (Materials) are owned and retained by The CAYS unless otherwise specified. No content may be copied, uploaded, posted, displayed or reproduced in any way without The CAYS’s prior permission. To the extent permitted by law, The CAYS makes no representation and bears no liability to any person or organization as to the accuracy or suitability of the Materials for any particular purpose.

    The CAYS’s maximum liability is limited to the sum total of the fees paid in relation to the event. Under no circumstances will The CAYS be responsible for any consequential or indirect damage, injury or loss of any kind. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The Bahamas.

    The CAYS reserves the right to revise and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.     Attendees grant permission to The CAYS, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness from the event for consecutive year’s marketing and promotional materials and for press materials following the event. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or educational purposes by and for The CAYS. Attendees agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Attendees release, discharge, and hold harmless, The CAYS and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video.  

    All models or actors that sign with an international agency through The CAYS will be required to sign a mother agency agreement with CMM Agency, partner of The CAYS event in Nassau, Bahamas and The Cays brand ambassador agreement.
